Bruce Cawdron was a percussionist in GY!BE during the classic era and returned for the early post-hiatus period. His playing helped define the band's layered, marching, and ritual-like rhythmic force.
He is also a founding figure in Esmerine, where percussion, marimba, cello, and chamber instrumentation move into a more intimate but still expansive world.
Cawdron's work connects the heavy ensemble sound of GY!BE with the chamber-experimental language of several Constellation projects.
