Wrekmeister Harmonies
J.R. Robinson's Chicago project, joining drone, doom, and chamber textures.
profile
Wrekmeister Harmonies is the project of Chicago musician J.R. Robinson, recording for Thrill Jockey with a changing cast of players.
Timothy Herzog plays drums on Light Falls (2016) and played with the project live that year. Sophie Trudeau is also a guest on the same album.
The record's mix of drone, doom metal, and strings sits close to GY!BE's slow-building heaviness.
