profile
Trudeau-Grill is the collaboration between Sophie Trudeau and Austrian filmmaker Michaela Grill, presented as live performance and installation.
Trudeau's violin and electronics are performed together with Grill's moving images. The duo has appeared at L'Alternativa in Barcelona, the Ann Arbor Film Festival, VOX, and Suoni per il Popolo.
Recent performances include the Cinematheque quebecoise in February 2025 and echoraum in Vienna in April 2026. Like GY!BE's projection work, the project treats image and sound as one live system.
