WE ARE WINTER'S BLUE AND RADIANT CHILDREN
A quartet of heavily distorted, lullaby-like pieces over electronic pulses.
profile
WE ARE WINTER'S BLUE AND RADIANT CHILDREN brings Efrim Manuel Menuck together with Mat Ball of BIG|BRAVE and Jonathan Downs and Patch One, both formerly of the Maine band Ada. The connection with Ada began when Menuck recorded the band's 2018 album at Hotel2Tango.
NO MORE APOCALYPSE FATHER, released on Constellation in 2024, pushes melody through heavy distortion and electronic pulse. The pieces often feel like lullabies played through broken equipment.
The project shows how Hotel2Tango's recording work continues to generate new collaborations around GY!BE's members.
