Fly Pan Am
An experimental rock group with a sharper, more fragmented rhythmic vocabulary.
profile
Fly Pan Am formed in Montreal in 1996 and became one of the key experimental rock groups on Constellation. Roger Tellier-Craig connects the project directly to GY!BE's classic-era lineup.
Their music pushes repetition, electronics, noise, and post-rock structures into more fractured and confrontational shapes. The band sits near GY!BE historically, but its vocabulary is more clipped, electric, and rhythmically unstable.
After a long hiatus, Fly Pan Am returned in 2019 with C'est ca and continued with Frontera in 2021.
